Stitching

This Photograph has been 'Stitched'. This is a free service and can be done on site. However if Digital editing is required to further enhance the 'stitching' Process then a small fee may be required. Any digital enhancement will be done 'off site'

So what is stitching?
A group of photos taken through your desired panoramic view and blended (stitched) together to form, as in Pictures from the 2006 F1 Power Boat race in Plymouth, an extremely large 'wide angle' panorama. For the picture below we used 12 pictures stitched together. Note the picture size and quality have been greatly reduced for web site demonstration only.

Gigapan stitching?
This is when the camera is mounted on a robotic arm. Each picture is then taken with a  'zoom' setting. The gigpan system then allows the operator to stitch and display on the website for the viewer to be able to zoom in on individual targets. Please note these pictures can't be presented on a paper copy, only the zoomed in image may be purchased/printed.
